Tech4Equity is a student-driven initiative dedicated to bridging the digital divide by providing underserved students with access to technology and coding education. Through our hardware/e-waste collection drives, we repurpose hardware to equip NGOs with computer labs, while our in-person and online sessions empower students with the skills needed to thrive in the digital age. At Tech4Equity, we believe in fostering innovation and opportunity for all, ensuring that every student, regardless of background, has the tools to shape their future.
MISSION
Our mission is to bridge the digital divide for underserved communities by providing access to coding and computing education. Through partnerships with NGOs and government schools, we empower students with essential technology skills, making them future workforce-ready. By digitizing curriculum into open-source videos, conducting hands-on sessions, and providing the required hardware/devices to needy students, we aim to create inclusive opportunities for every student to thrive in a digital world.
VISION
Our vision is to build a future where every underserved student has equal access to technology education, irrespective of their background. We aspire to expand our reach across cities and states, donate devices or set up computer labs in rural schools, promote sustainable e-waste management, and create a platform where students' achievements are celebrated. By fostering a collaborative community of volunteers, we envision Tech4Equity as a catalyst for lasting social and digital change.
